Savvy Strategic Consulting
As the business world has become more complex and competitive, it has been accompanied by rapid technological developments that have turned it into a "global village" characterized by local and international competition. At the same time, formal and informal regulations regarding decision-making processes for the enterprise have expanded and become more stringent.
One of the most important aspects of the decision-making process is a company's investment policy: whether to embark on a new investment and at what price; whether to continue in the same line of business or sell it off for economic considerations; whether to merge operations, and if so, at what value.
To help companies in their decision-making process, Sigma offers valuation assessment services conducted by finance, economics, taxation and accounting experts. Incorporating comparative local and international stock exchange data, our assessments utilize economic models for evaluating investments. Based on internal and external databases, the assessments synthesize a wealth of information including company accounting data, security and bond yield data, and risk estimates derived from market data.
Sigma's experts help build a strategic plan that considers the opportunities and risks presented by the business environment in which the client operates, the client's competitive advantages and disadvantages, and the resources available to the client over time. Our experts help define client and project goals, and chart out the most efficient path toward achieving them.
Incubator for Innovation
Leveraging our ability to identify innovative ideas, offer managerial capabilities, grant financial support, and provide financial management assistance, Sigma also serves as an incubator for startups.
As part of this service, we prepare business plans for promising ideas in their early stages of development. A business plan presents the innovativeness of an idea, describes its chances of success on both a technological and business level, and recommends an implementation path. The plan also includes the estimated market share for a product or service, and concludes with a financial analysis of the business, including investment details, as well as its forecasted income and expenses over the course of several years. In addition, Sigma is actively involved in raising additional funds from private and institutional investors, and helps develop an exit strategy.
Sigma has helped establish companies in Israel and worldwide in a number of areas including ecology, Internet (e.g. advertising technology, advertising services) and financial innovation (e.g. financial products for the international art market).
For each company in which Sigma invests, we play an active role on its board of directors and continuously track its operations.
Sigma believes that our personal, steady assistance provides our clients with greater capabilities than most startups, thereby improving their chances of success.
